I’m so blessed to be on this ride called life with Kristine and my two beautiful boys. The last few weeks, I’ve been playing more with the video feature on my Nikon D90. It’s become a new frontier of creativity for me and one that I want to explore more. Aside from some of the limitations of the video features (some from the camera, and some from limited knowledge of the user
, it’s allowed me to produce some fun, raw and real videos that showcase my family and the normal, candid moments that I cherish the most with them.
I couldn’t be more thankful for the days from May 1st until today. I’ve seen so much of God through my family and my special summer with them. Who knows where He will lead us, but I know that He’ll lead us somewhere together…and that’s all that matters.

Read More and CommentAfter making a video of Adler, I of course had to get some of Eli’s favorite moves. Right now he LOVES ‘the bouncy’ and he’s obviously working on his athletic skillz in the later part of the video.
I had such a blast with these guys…can’t wait to do more videos with the D90!

Read More and CommentIt’s been a great weekend here in Atlanta with the boys…I’m so thankful for this time with them, although I’m soooooo ready for my wife to get back from San Diego tomorrow night. Here’s another video from today…it’s been fun just carrying my camera around as we do the “normal” stuff like play trains and try and capture some video of the boys. These videos will definitely be something we cherish, and now I’m brainstorming how I can incorporate some of this work into my photography.

Day 1 is in the books. Kristine is in San Diego having a blast, and I’m rockin the weekend with our two beautiful boys. I know I’m biased, but man…these kids are cute!

The song is “The Woods” By Bon Iver. Probably my favorite song right now because it seems to capture how I feel about life right now. My perspective has changed. While I’m still busy…probably busier than ever and working my tail off, I value the slowness of life and truly enjoying the moment. I’m so thankful for what this summer has allowed me to do…spend more time with my family during the day, on my own clock. I’m so blessed to have these beautiful boys and so happy to spend this weekend bonding with them and spending precious time with them that I wouldn’t be doing were the situation different this summer.
